The Uniball Signo 207 was my pen of choice before I began my pen collection. For now, I use the Uniball Signo 207 only for writing checks because of Uniball's patented Super Ink. Super Ink is a permanent, fraud, water and fade resistant ink.
I have always enjoyed writing with the Uniball Signo 207, but due to the inexpensive plasticky feel, I have not placed the Signo into my daily rotation. The Uniball Signo 207 is very similar to the newer Uniball Signo 307. Honestly, the Uniball Signo 207 provides a slightly classier look than the 307, but the 307's writing experience is much more fluid. It is very similar to the Pentel Energel refill. Both pens are very comfortable in the hand!
Let's face it, the Uniball Signo 207 is one of the best pens you can buy in big box office supply stores. It writes smoothly, is reliable, and the ink lasts a long time. What more can you ask for from a pen this inexpensive? For those of you who enjoy the Uniball 207 refill, but dislike the pen's body may try a little hack. Try the refill in a Retro 51 Tornado by trimming the end of the refill. The quality and weight of the Retro 51 combined with this refill it is an absolutely amazing experience. Penman's Final Remark:
The Uniball 207 is a great budget-friendly option for daily use and to protect against fraud.
