The Fisher Space Pen was the first anti-gravity pen developed by Paul Fisher in 1965. The pen was also the first pen capable of being used in outer space. So how does the Fisher Space Pen differ from other ballpoint pens? The cartridge is pressurized with nitrogen gas so that it does not rely on gravity to work. It can be used in freezing cold, extreme heat, underwater, and upside down. The Fisher Space Pen Bullet is the ultimate everyday carry option!
The Fisher Space Pen Bullet is my favorite pocket pen. To start, this is the smoothest and coolest compact writing instrument that I have used to date, and it's made in the good ol' USA. I bought this pen to carry in my pocket while on the job. It is so compact that I forget it's in my pocket. The pen provides excellent durability so that it can survive daily use and abuse. The Bullet offers style and portability in one package. The pen's barrel is made of chrome plated brass giving it a high-quality look and feel in the hand. The etched grip provides limited slippage when writing; however, the grip does make my fingers sore after extended use.
This pen is perfect for those who need a pen that writes well on the go whenever you need it; however, if you enjoy this pens refill, I would recommend using the Fisher Space Pen Cap-o-matic or Original Astronaut. What's your favorite Fisher Space Pen model?
